Hey! We're Ashley-Ann and Tina, founders of The Studio Press and creators of Collective Voices.

When we embarked on our author journey, we had no clue what we were doing. Our focus was taking our story and turning it into something useful, or as we'd like to say, we turned our mess into our message.

We’ve always felt a deep pull to be and do more.

At one time we were both struggling with discovering what our true purpose was and the one thing we knew for certain was that we wanted to help people.

Writing gave us that opportunity to find our authentic voice, speak our truth and add meaning in our life and work.

Collective Voices was created to offer a simpler way to experience what it feels like to author your story. We know how freeing it feels to creatively express a message in writing, however, we also know how intimidating the process can be.

Collective Voices has given us the space to take people on an intentional journey through the writing and self-publishing process.

We’ve witnessed all of our past authors transform into confident storytellers that stand in their authenticity.

And who wouldn’t want to say, “I’m a published author!”

Inside Collective Voices, we hold a safe and brave space for all to write and share their stories.

HOW LONG IS THE PROGRAM?

It's a 5-6 month journey from start to finish, but to craft your story, you're required to be part of the 10 weekly calls (replays available too). For the remaining weeks until the book launch, we will be working to edit, design and publish the book. We will stay connected via SLACK to answer any questions you have along the way and there will be group calls leading up to the book launch for updates.

HOW IS THE BOOK SOLD?

Directly from you! We want everyone to buy from you first, that's our priority.

The Studio Press will have the book available on Amazon with a portion of the proceeds being donated to Youth Speaks.

DO AUTHOR'S RECEIVE ROYALTIES?

Authors will profit 100% from their own sales.

ARE THERE ADDITIONAL COSTS OUTSIDE OF THE INVESTMENT?

Printing of books and any marketing efforts you decide to do are at your own expense.

HOW LONG WILL MY CHAPTER BE?

With every book, we aim for a word count of 35,000 which will be divided amonst the writers in the Collective. Each write is responsible for roughly 2,500 - 3,000 words.
